The Adonis Cocktail offers a great taste using wine and oranges.  If you love the taste of wine, especially sherry and you love the taste of oranges you’ll love this drink.  This recipe offers the perfect balance of the two which makes for a hell of a mixed drink!  Try it out, you’ll love it, your friends will love it, and you’ll love the attention it gets!

Ingredients for an Adonis Cocktail:

• 3 oz. Dry Sherry
• 1 oz. Sweet Verrmouth
• Dash orange bitters
• Orange wedge

Mix all the ingredients in a pitcher or container with some Ice and pour into a chilled cocktail glass.  Next, twist the orange over the drink and drop it in the glass.
